This post is in response to a drubbing I took on the socials because I mentioned divine feminine energy. I realized there’s still a lot of confusion about what divine feminine energy really is. Some people still believe it’s about being soft, passive, or dependent — as if feminine energy means waiting to be rescued instead of taking action. So here’s my perspective about divine feminine energy, and why we need it now.
That misunderstanding isn’t surprising. We live in a culture that equates strength with speed, dominance, and control. Anything that looks like stillness, intuition, or empathy is mistaken for weakness.
But that’s not what divine feminine energy is about at all. In fact, it’s one of the most powerful forces in the world.
What Divine Feminine Energy Really Means
Divine feminine energy isn’t a sex thing. In fact, it’s an energy men have, too. Just as every human being holds both left and right brain hemispheres, we also embody both masculine and feminine energetic qualities.
The divine masculine is the part of us that acts, builds, and protects. It’s linear, focused, and outward-moving. The divine feminine is the part that feels, nurtures, and intuits. It’s cyclical, creative, and inwardly attuned.
Feminine energy is the wisdom of flow — the quiet knowing that guides us toward right timing, right relationships, and right action. It’s receptive, but not passive. Receptivity means staying open to wisdom that can’t be forced, the kind that emerges through reflection, listening, and connection. It’s not about waiting to be rescued.
It’s the force that turns information into insight, ambition into alignment, and achievement into meaning.
The Sacred Fire of Divine Feminine Rage
And it’s a mistake to confuse the divine feminine with perpetual calm. The feminine is not only soft and nurturing — she’s also fierce, protective, and wildly alive.
When divine feminine energy has been silenced for too long, it doesn’t return as a whisper. It rises as rage: A sacred, cleansing rage that says enough.
It’s the righteous fire that burns away what no longer serves. It’s the voice that refuses to tolerate injustice, suppression, or self-betrayal any longer.
Divine feminine rage is the energy of boundaries reclaimed. It’s the truth that erupts after decades of swallowing words. It’s the courage to say no more to systems, relationships, and patterns that challenge our integrity and drain us.
This rage is sacred because it’s rooted in love — love for life, for wholeness, for integrity. It’s the same energy that fuels revolutions, births new paradigms, and reawakens the collective heart.
When we allow ourselves to feel and channel this rage consciously, it becomes alchemy. It transforms victimhood into power, grief into purpose, silence into voice.
The rise of the divine feminine is not just about remembering our softness. It’s also about reclaiming our fire, and to use the light of that fire to illuminate.
How the Feminine Got Misunderstood
For centuries, societies have rewarded masculine traits: productivity, competition, logic, and measurable results. These qualities are valuable, but when they dominate unchecked, they create disharmony.
(I prefer the word harmony to balance because life is fluid, and “harmonizing” allows for the ebbs and flows of masculine and feminine energies rather than trying to keep them at 50-50 all the time. It’s a more of a divinely feminine perspective. 😊)
Both women and men have been conditioned to prioritize Doing over Being, strategy over intuition, and control over trust. No wonder we’re experiencing collective burnout — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The suppression of feminine energy came about through cultural conditioning. But the consequence is a world that’s brilliant at building things and terrible at listening to what truly matters.
That’s why so many people — especially women in leadership — are now craving a new way to live and lead. They’ve mastered the science of achievement. Now, they’re ready to master the art of alignment.
Why the Divine Feminine Needs to Rise Now
The rise of the divine feminine isn’t a rebellion against the masculine; it’s a harmonizing. It’s the restoration of what’s been missing.
When divine feminine energy rises, we remember how to lead with empathy, how to create with intuition, and how to sustain success without sacrificing well-being.
We remember that true power doesn’t come from control — it comes from coherence. From being in harmony with our values, our cycles, and the greater intelligence of life itself.
At a time when the world is moving faster than ever, the feminine invites us to pause.
To feel. To remember that slowing down isn’t failing.
What Embodying Feminine Power Looks Like
Reclaiming your feminine energy doesn’t mean you stop achieving. It means you stop forcing. You stop performing. You stop striving for other people’s goals and definitions of success.
You lead differently. You listen more deeply. You act from intuition, not obligation.
In practice, it can look like:
- Trusting your gut (or heart) before over-analyzing a decision
- Creating boundaries that protect your energy rather than drain it
- Leading with compassion, knowing that it strengthens outcomes
- Allowing creativity and intuition to inform strategy
- Honouring rest as a radical act of power
Feminine energy creates space for wisdom to emerge. Without it, even the most brilliant strategy burns out.
The Return of Wholeness
I’m not suggesting we replace masculine energy. This is about remembering the partnership between the two. The masculine builds the container; the feminine fills it with meaning. The masculine acts; the feminine attunes.
We need both.
It’s still you Being and Doing.
The rise of divine feminine energy is the rise of balance, intuition, collaboration, and regenerative power. It’s the energy that can heal our exhaustion, reconnect us to purpose, and remind us how to thrive in a world that desperately needs more consciousness, not more control.
So, the next time someone says the feminine is weak, remember:
It’s not weakness to listen before acting.
It’s not dependency to collaborate.
It’s not passivity to trust in timing.
It’s wisdom. And that’s exactly what the world is ready for.
